Our Vision/Mission

The vision of Washington Elementary School Counseling program is that all students will be provided opportunities so that every student will acquire the social-emotional, academic, and college and career ready skills to reach their fullest educational potential and successfully manage their lives as healthy, responsible, competent and productive citizens who respect themselves and others. The students at Washington Elementary will be prepared to be our 21st century leaders in our ever-changing world. 

 

The mission of Washington Elementary school counseling program is to provide equitable access to social and emotional, academic, college and career development through a data-driven comprehensive school counseling program.  School counselors will use the school data to set mindsets and behavior standards to deliver a comprehensive school counseling program. School counselors will advocate for all student's needs through collaboration with parents, educators and community stakeholders to ensure the academic and developmental success of all students. The Washington Elementary school counseling program will create a school culture where we advocate empathy, respect, diversity, and equality to all students. School counselors will empower students to flourish as responsible productive citizens in their communities.
